Hello World

We are a group of four students at MIT taking Develop Lab: Health (D-Lab). D-Lab is a course that enables MIT students to leverage our training in science and technology to tackle global health issues. This spring break, we journeyed to Nicaragua to determine global health needs first-hand. Just outside of Ocotal, we visited a clinic that was well-run, yet lacking in terms of technological resources.

Our group seeks to build an affordable electrocardiograph (EKG) machine so that the doctors at this clinic will be able to accurately diagnose a wide array of cardiac disorders.

Throughout our development process, we'll try to keep you updated through this blog!

Thanks!
David, Mureji, Michelle, and Judy
